Selge (Σελγη) was an important city in Pisidia. İt's believed that Selge was first founded by Kalchas
and then settled by Spartans. The remains are scattered in a wide area around Zerk village. The most robust structure of the city was the theatre. City walls, temples, water arcs and graves are among the structures to be seen.
The stone covered floor of a fairly wide square where north and east sides are closed with buildings is thought to be
the Agora of the city. Along with the cistern and engraved mausoleums, the Zeus and Artemisia temples on the west have been waiting to be discovered. Another one of the important characteristics of Selge ruins, is the water sources that are still intact. Especially the springs on the skirts of Aladana hill are still being used today.
